For the millionaire that has everything, Avro have released a new aircraft design featuring an “air deck” and aiming to provide the ultimate travel experience for those seeking five-star luxury even while roughing it.
Known as The Avro Business Jet Explorer, it is believed to be a first in aviation history that has a platform which transforms the rear of the aircraft into a living space with open-air views. One should hasten to add that this feature is only applicable on land.
BAE Systems and Design Q are the companies behind the design, with the main selling point being that the jet is designed to land on short runways and uneven landing strips, delivering passengers into wilderness areas.
How much does it cost? Well, if you have to ask you probably can’t afford it. $26.5 million will buy the plane though.
Gary Doy, Owner and Director of Design Q said:
:I believe these products will have enormous appeal to owners and operators who are looking for the ultimate luxury travel experience.
The concept was unveiled at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition show in Geneva earlier this month.
