Baptism party violence leaves two dead in Jersey


A verbal dispute attendees of a baptism party and another group outside a Mexican restaurant in New Jersey was resolved with knives.

Philly.com reports that two men were killed and another two injured outside of a restaurant in Pennsauken. The dead men have been identified as Jacobo Medina, 21, and Javier Medina, 22. Thus far, the two injured men, one of whom required hospitalization, have not been named.

The altercation occurred at around 2 a.m. as the baptism party ended and the guests left. Then, according to Coffee and Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk:

A verbal dispute erupted between members of the baptism party and another group.

Police said that the dispute ended when “the second group of men attacked members of the baptism party with knives”.
