Prosthetic Leg Washes Up on Jacksonville Beach

You would think that a person with a prosthetic limb would realize that said limb has gone missing, and set out trying to track it down.  You’d think that, wouldn’t you.

The Jacksonville cops are hoping the same thing, after a gentleman came across a left prosthetic leg that had washed ashore on a Jacksonville beach recently.  The man also posted an ad on Craigslist in the hopes of reuniting the owner with his missing limb.

The leg is pretty much like any other prosthetic leg, save for one, distinctive mark–a Willie Nelson sticker adorns the limb.  That should help narrow down the search, no?  Unless Willie Nelson has some sort of cult following amongst the one-legged country music fanbase.

The owner may have been ‘legless’ at the time, and perhaps didn’t notice why he kept falling over?
