Comic-Con attendee “stabbed in face” by angry Potter fan [latest details]

Police have released further details relating to the Comic-Con stabbing incident that occurred on Saturday.

Apparently, the incident occurred when an argument of the proximity of the two attendees seats got out of hand.

The injured man was treated for a minor cut near his eye. His alleged attacker, who can be seen wearing a Harry Potter t-shirt was arrested and booked for assault with a deadly weapon. When the argument started, they were waiting for a panel featuring Seth Rogen.

San Diego Police Officer David Stafford explained it simply:

The room was very crowded and the males argued over one male sitting too close to the other.
