The fourth day of the Sanfermin bullfights proved eventful for Madrid bullfighter “El Cid” when Garboso’s horns found matador, twice. The first goring produced a 10-centimeter wound to the man’s thigh; the second also caught thigh – and scrotum.
Considering that “El Cid” was able to walk from the ring unassisted, we are assuming that he did not suffer the second most common injury in bullfighting (scrotal avulsion).
Warning: zooming into the picture of “El Cid” on the ground will reveal an inadvertent display of matador junk. If you don’t want to see it, or work in an environment where viewing such material would contravene company policy, then don’t click on the thumbnail.
