An armed bandit who robbed a Wendy’s in Atlanta was so dissatisfied with his haul that he called the restaurant, twice, to complain about the lack of money in the till.
The thief allegedly walked up to the drive-through window wearing a ski mask and carrying a gun. The cash drawer that he took was later found in some bushes.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that the frustrated felon called the “restaurant” to explain his displeasure and indicate that the restaurant might be a target of his future criminal endeavors:
Next time there better be more than $586.
Some time later he called again and issued a “similar threat”.
Why the complaint? Consider the fact that he just risked several years of his freedom for something that he could have made legitimately in 114 hours of legitimate, minimum-wage work (before taxes).
