Speedboat pool table makes for one fine memorial

This seven-pocket pool table set into the top of a 21-foot speedboat is more than just an interesting looking way to part with a whole lot of money – $55,000 (USD) of it to be precise.

The boat was built as a memorial to professional water skier Brian Rix, who died back in 1999. The seven pocket table presented a few design problems for the builder: curved timber and the obtuse pocket at the bow of the boat – but they were solved in spectacular fashion as the video demonstrates.
