Better ways to earn a Darwin award: Roping into an active volcano

Rappelling, abseiling, whatever you want to call it is a reasonably safe activity when you control all of the elements of risk and don’t have a lake of molten rock bubbling away beneath you… not to mention the toxic gases. All ended well this time.
