What were they thinking? [Israeli tourism video]

There is nothing you can really say about this video other than: What were they thinking?

I’d love to know how they ‘sold’ this to the tourism department. No doubt it was one of those ‘good ideas at the time’, instead it has quickly become one of those ‘cringe moments’ in advertising history.
