I think whoever is running this particular anger management class might want to review the syllabus, because I don’t think the program is working.
Faribah Maradiaga of Bellevue, Wash., was attending a court-ordered anger management class when she got into an altercation with a fellow classmate. Instead of putting the lessons she learned while attending the class, she pulled a knife instead, and got all stabby.
The argument between the two women started when Maradiaga began complaining about a video being shown in class. The victim suggested that Maradiaga “give it a chance.” It went downhill from there, culminating in Maradiaga stabbing the other woman.
As a result of the altercation, Maradiaga now has a second assault charge to go along with the one that got her placed in the anger management class in the first place. She is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail pending her upcoming arraignment.
Let’s just hope she’s not ordered to attend another anger management class—next time she’ll probably pull a gun when they run out of coffee.
