Fake Bob Dylan representative orders 178 pizzas

Bob Dylan looking appropriately displeased

A man wearing a backstage pass to a Bob Dylan concert played a cruel joke on a Massachusetts pizza parlor when he ordered 178 pizzas and never came to pick them up.

The incident occurred at Antonio’s in Amherst, early Saturday morning shortly after the end of Bob Dylan’s performance. Owner Walter Pacheco explained that staff worked until 5:30a.m. to fill the order, which came to approximately $3900.

Pacheco said that he was able to give away some of the pizzas as he could but that most needed to be thrown away.

I, for one, hope this guy gets caught. It is one thing ordering a few pizzas for Balloon Boy et al. but to dupe a small business owner and his employees into working through the night and wasting perfectly good pizza is nothing short of a travesty. [Daily Hampshire Gazette]
