Thanksgiving feast in cake form

This Thanksgiving turkey cake is cake in name only. It is not a cake at all, in the traditional sense, rather it is a combination of the core elements of a traditional Thanksgiving feast.

The “cake” part is ground turkey and sausage stuffing, the icing is mashed potato and the secondary layer between the icing and the cake, is mashed yam.

From Chow:

Whether this Thanksgiving centerpiece incites horror, amazement, or confusion when it’s served, it’s certain to evoke some kind of outburst. Warning: This dish is not recommended for people who require an inch of space between food groups.

If you want to put together one of these for your Thanksgiving eat-a-thon, you can get the recipe over at Chow. [Geekologie]
