When good acting can be deadly

An action movie being filmed in central Philippines was a bit too realistic it seems, with a Filipino actor being shot dead for his efforts.

Kirk Abella was playing a masked gunman in the film, before being shot dead by a village watchman who allegedly mistook him for a real assassin.

The watchman, Eddie Cuizon, shot at the actor who was directed to speed away on a motorcycle.

The film is called ‘Going Somewhere’ and is being filmed by British director Alan Lyddiard.

The watchman will face homicide charges and violation of a gun ban.
