Coming up with new and exciting ways to demonstrate one’s strength to one’s friends and family over Festivus can be a challenge. Fortunately, We Interrupt has the inspiration side of the equation covered. The videos below offer a range of possibilities for demonstrating your physical prowess for today’s secular day of celebration.
If we really wanted to, we could simply end this feats of strength piece with the gentleman below. The Egyptian “Hulk” is a walking feat of strength, he has seven wives, drinks melted butter and is too strong to survive in a corporate environment – or rather he is too strong for a corporate environment to survive him.
Being able to actually toss a caber is a feat of strength in and of itself. Do you notice how it takes two officials to raise the caber? That’s because it is really, really heavy.
A step up from tossing wooden poles is being able to pick up giant spherical rocks and place them on barrels like Derek Poundstone in the video below.
Another way to prove your mettle is to roll up a frying pan like the old lady does in the video below.
Finally, what better way to demonstrate one’s strength this Festivus than by crushing an apple with your hands.
Wishing you a wonderfully potent Festivus 2010.
