Twenty-seven-year-old Johnathan William Hartman found himself fronting Yellowstone County Justice Court by video for allegedly sticking a piston in his girlfriend’s mouth.
It would seem karma had plans for Hartman, as he accidentally shot himself in the buttocks when he put his gun down the back of his pants. Aside from the gunshot wound to his posterior, if found guilty of felony assault with a weapon, Hartman can look forward to a lengthy custodial sentence. It might be the first time he shot himself in the ass but it would be his fifth felony conviction.
His girlfriend claims that they had been arguing about his upcoming prison sentence over his fourth felony conviction when things started to get a little crazy. After buying a bottle of whiskey at a Main Street casino, Hartman is said to have fired his pistol into the roof of the car. She said that he then pointed the pistol at her, stuck it in her mouth and threatened to kill her. After the removing the pistol from her mouth she said that he discharged it again, next to her ear – then stuck the gun down his pants where it discharged as he drove erratically. [Missoulian]
