You might’ve seen a magician ‘catch’ a bullet between their teeth, but you probably haven’t seen one do the same with their nose.
That’s exactly what Darco Sangermano accomplished on New Years Eve in Naples, Italy. The stray .22 caliber round entered his right temple and lodged in his nostril; upon reaching the hospital, Sangermano sneezed – and out came a bullet.
Apparently feeling no pain aside from a “strong headache” Sangermano’s wound was cleaned up and he was subsequently discharged from the hospital. Besides bearing unfathomable machismo, Sangermano is also incredibly lucky – he was one of three Naples residents struck by stray bullets on New Years Eve, including one who died watching fireworks with his family on the city’s outskirts.
