Police have since charged him with threats to commit a crime and possession of incendiary devices after complaints from neighbours brought them to his home in Abington, Massachusetts. While there authorities found a container with “military-grade ammunition and other stuff, including powders of some sort” which was taken to determine if it was explosives. Powers wasn’t arrested at the time since there was no proof the materials were incendiary devices.
Powers has been asked to surrender all firearms and has since complied. His firearms license has also been suspended and he’ll be summoned to appear in court at a later date.
