Of all the things one could say to a Christian in order to ensure never being invited to their dinner parties ever again, “God is dead” and “Judas was actually the hero” might be on top of the list – right behind “Jesus was gay.”
The Guardian, in an open demonstration of exactly how much they care, published an article not only arguing through citation of the New Testament that Jesus’ disciples were more than just friends, but further, uses Jesus’ strong relationship with his mother Mary as evidence to this end (and it’s not the only “well then he must be gay” stereotype contained within the article).
Obviously, the comment flood resulting from this article is worth at least several hours of sheer textual entertainment. [Source; Image]
