Disabilities recipient caught playing golf

Not even the Fail Safe could keep Mowatt from failing.

Chris Mowatt collected over $26,000 dollars from the British welfare system over the course of three and a half years; he claimed that a slipped disc in his back kept him from walking more than 25 yards at a time.  The best part: Mowatt suffered from no real disability.

But the sweet life came to a screeching halt after a Department for Work and Pensions surveillance team caught him on the links in Norfolk, UK.  Not only able to swing a golf club, but also pushing a golf cart and striding across the fairways with friends, Mowatt was charged with illegally claiming disability living allowance and ordered to pay nearly all of it back in $16/week increments.
