Skydivers collide during memorial jump for fallen skydivers

Perhaps proving that no good deed goes unpunished, a skydiver in Riverside, California is dead after accidentally colliding with another during an ‘ash dive’ to honor the memory of two fallen skydiving instructors.

In both incidents, the skydivers’ parachutes became entangled on descent; luckily for the most recent pair, the second skydiver survived and is being treated for injuries.  Still, police are investigating the two incidents, which are either incredibly ironic or possibly tied to foul play.
