Most of us buy scratch cards knowing we’ll likely never win a thing.
Well, that wasn’t the case for 3 passengers on a Ryanair flight from Milan to Madrid. All three won the grand prize, a car valued at roughly $20,000, after buying the airlines’ scratchcards on the same flight.
Only one card is meant to be won each month.
Ryanair says it’s a printing error by Brandforce who is the company behind the game, promise all three will get their car.
In-flight scratch cards are another of Ryanair’s ancillary operations which make up a quarter of their revenue. They started selling the cards in 2008 and so far this is their first major blunder. [Telegraph | Image]
