Last week’s viral Applebee’s headline, in which a one-year-old toddler was accidentally served margarita mix in his child’s drink and later registered a BAC of 0.1, has been followed up by – you guessed it – a lawsuit.

Now the two parties, parents Taylor Dill-Reese and Dominic Wilson and the Applebee’s restaurant in Madison Heights, Michigan, are locked in a feud over semantics.  While both parties agree that the child was served alcohol, the parents argue that this has happened before with other children, while Applebee’s parent company DineEquity Inc. claims that the 0.1 BAC was trumped up, citing the police report showing that the child registered only a 0.014.  Now the parents are seeking unspecified damages for medical bills and “non-economic losses.” [Source; Image]
