UK man honors Kate and William’s Royal Wedding with teeth tattoos

Because nothing says classy like a couple of royal family tattoos on your choppers.  And by classy I mean absolutely ridiculous.

Just don’t tell that to 29-year-old plumber, and Royal Family enthusiast, Barmy Baz Franks, who paid £1,000 (roughly $1600 U.S. dollars) to have the images of Prince William and Kate Middleton tattooed on his two front teeth.

As the British would say—smashing!

For those of you wondering, and you know who you are, the tattoos are temporary.  Known as “gnasher tats,” they are applied with stencils and ultra-fine brushes, and can be removed with a long hard brushes, or barring that, a shot of Whiskey and a pair of pliers.  Most people recommend the latter.

Franks’ stunt was part of a contest put on by The Windsor Knot to find the biggest fan of the Royal Family.  Our wacky plumber here won the contest, and for his efforts will receive—are you ready for it—ridicule!

Seems about right.

It certainly is a very British way to celebrate the most British event in the last 30 years.
