Did the iron-on badges give it away?

One of the undeniable benefits of joining the US Air Force is the post exchange and commissary found on Air Force bases – a source of significantly cheaper clothing, food, booze and smokes.  As it turns out, you don’t have to be in the Air Force to enjoy these benefits.  You can just pretend to be.

But Jeffrey Lee Bennett faked his way in with style, successfully entering Fort Huachuca in Tuscon, Arizona twice, not as a Private or even a Petty Officer, but as a General Officer.  He likely gleaned the information needed to pose convincingly two decades ago when he was in the US Air Force – though not as a two-star General.  He now faces charges of identification document fraud and falsely presenting himself in an Air Force uniform.  [Source; Image]
