Salt Lake City man, Max Melitzer is about to see his life do a complete 180. The homeless man in his 60’s, who’s been living on the streets and carrying his belongings with him wherever he goes in a shopping cart, has been given a “significant” amount of money from his recently deceased brother.
Detective David Lundberg was hired to find the man by the deceased’s family, who lost his battle with cancer. No mention of how much money Melitzer’s getting but it is enough to get him off the streets, in a home and into health care.
Melitzer suffers from emotional issues.
Lundberg was able to track Melitzer thanks to a tip-off he received after a local radio station broadcast news of the search. The rest of the family will meet him next week.
And here’s to hoping he’s ready for change. [Telegraph]
