Scoop your dog poop… or they’ve got the DNA to find you.
Yes, these are the measures one apartment complex in Lebanon, New Hampshire is taking to insure residents clean up after their pets. They’re asking all residents to submit their dog’s DNA so if poop is missed it can be tested so the culprit’s owner can be properly reprimanded.
And they have the means. Debbie Violette, manager of the Timberwood Commons, says they’ve purchased commercial DNA testing kits so they can get a swab and send to a lab for testing.
It is something residents think is a bit excessive but they agree the do-do is messing up their dress shoes and it’s getting out of hand.
If that’s what it takes to keep you out of crap so be it. Sad people can’t take care of it themselves without needing science to determine who didn’t scoop but alas lucky we have science to solve such pressing crimes against humanity. [UPI]
