Man Fakes Death as Part of Wedding Proposal

People go to great lengths when planning their wedding proposals. There’s been flash mobs, movies made and plans pulling signs across the sky, all with the desire to be the most romantic wedding proposal of all time. However, 30-year old Alexey Byko, had a different object when he hired a movie crew to fake his bloody car crash death before he proposed.

“”I wanted her to realize how empty her life would be without me and how life would have no meaning without me,” said the Russian man. “I think it worked – but I promise it’s the last time.”

Byko hired a movie crew to stage an elaborate car crash full of bloody bodies, ambulances, police cars, cops, doctors, paramedics and bystanders. Set up at a location he told his girlfriend, Irena Kolokov, to meet him at. When she arrive she thought her love was dead.

“when I arrived there were mangled cars everywhere, ambulances, smoke and carnage,” Kolokov told the U.K. Sun. “Then when I saw Alexey covered in blood lying in the road, a paramedic told me he was dead and I just broke down in tears.”

That’s when the funny man himself sat up and proposed. Kolokov was furious but still said yes. We have yet to hear what her revenge might be.
