Chinese man Jian Feng filed one of the more stranger lawsuits you will ever read about. Shortly after his wife gave birth to their first child Feng thought something was up. Looking closely at his newborn baby, Feng was repulsed by what he described as a “horrifically ugly” child, which looked nothing like him or his wife.
He immediately accused his wife of having an affair, but the truth, it turns out, was much more bizarre than anything Feng could have imagined. Apparently Feng’s wife copped to duping her husband into marrying her by undergoing nearly $100,000 worth of plastic surgery in South Korea to make her more aesthetically appealing. The before and after pictures seem like it was money well spent, except that it ended up costing the woman her marriage…and a lot more than that.
Feng filed a lawsuit against his wife for deceiving him into marrying her under false pretenses and won a settlement worth $120,000. He was also granted a divorce, and seeing that he described the child as “incredibly ugly,” I’m guessing he won’t be trying to secure custody anytime soon.

Jian Feng from northern China filed a suit against his wife and was awarded $120,000 (£75,000) in a court settlement.
Jian argued that his wife tricked him into the marriage by undergoing plastic surgery to make her beautiful. He said he realised this only when she gave birth to their daughter.
“I married my wife out of love, but as soon as we had our first daughter, we began having marital issues. Our daughter was incredibly ugly, to the point where it horrified me,” Jian said.
Hopefully Feng can come to learn to love his “incredibly ugly” daughter, and if not, maybe he will spend some of his settlement money to help her become more beautiful in his eyes. Hey, it worked once on him, why not again?
