Cannonballing into an ice-covered pool might make for an awesome stunt if everything works out, but there is a lot more that can go wrong than can go right. For starters, the ice could break away in an uneven fashion, slice yourself open and watch as your vital fluids bleed out into the icy water beneath the ice – that would be really unlucky. Alternatively, you could hit ice that is too thick and fail to penetrate the freezing water below, smash your coccyx and amuse the entire Internet.
