It has been said that anything vaguely criminal or unflattering posted on Facebook, whether it be the pictures from that party where you blacked out or a quote by Charlie Sheen, might come back to haunt you later. In the case of four Houston residents, one Facebook slip-up will put them behind bars.
Ricky Gonzalez and Arturo Solano made a clean getaway on March 23 with $62,000 in cash from an International Bank of Commerce. Estefany Martinez and Anna Riviera, tellers at the bank, had arranged the robbery with the men ahead of time. On the following day, however, Gonzalez posted “U HAVE TO PAST THE LINE SOMETIMES!! TO GET DIS MONEY!!” on his Facebook page, to which Martinez replied, “I’M RICH (expletive)” thus tying the bank teller to her bank robber boyfriend. Federal agents swooped in shortly thereafter and the other two suspects quickly confessed. [Source; Image]
