Man Kills Wounded Deer With a Stick

Unfortunately that headline doesn’t really do this story justice.  Killing an injured deer with a stick is only half the story here.

Joel “Country” Borden, of Clarksville, Georgia, says he knew exactly what to do when a deer wandered onto his property, suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck.

He grabbed a stick, and beat the deer to death, while only wearing boxer shorts and flip-flops.

Now, maybe it’s just me, but wouldn’t the normal thing to do in this situation would be to call the local animal control office?

Let’s see–guy nicknamed “Country” hailing from a small town in the southern United States.  There’s a Jeff Foxworthy joke in here, I just know it.
