I think the girl is a liar. I find it hard to believe that a tattooist would do something like that against a person’s will. How can someone even fall asleep and not feel the tattoo being performed? That just doesn’t make any sense to me.
I asked myself the same question, a needle digging in and out of the skin would be pretty hard to sleep through.
you can pass out i used to work in a shop and seen it happen many times and ive seen tattooists play some fucked up pranks when they do they say its for being weak its like passin out at a party
the above story has many mistakes. first of all, she speaks dutch and some english, no french at all. the tattoo artist is french himself, speaks english and understand some dutch.
now, to fall asleep during a facial tattoo is impossible unless drugged; the pain one has to endure is far too great. when the tattoo was done, she paid for it and presumably went home. if she was in any case unsatisfied with the tattoo and would’ve felt abused in the first place, her reaction would’ve been a completely different one.
next to that, it can only harm a tattoo artist’s image to drug someone to tattoo them.
I quoted my original source with regard to the languages, but confusion with these things can happen. If it is a mistake, and that is an if then it is one mistake, rather than “many.”

i’ve fallen asleep many times whilst getting tattoos. with neither drugs nor alcohol to assist. but never when work was being done on my face!
I think that 2 options could have happened but there is no real proof of whom is lying and who s being honest:
1) Either she was drunk before entering the parlour and thought she was doing a wow thing but her parents were angry/she came to her senses and realised she literally ruined her face
2)Misunderstanding…maybe she joked about the amount of stars – mentioned a lot of numbers and got misunderstood (in case there were language problems)
In both cases I think that the stars are cute but somewhere else…no tattoo is really nice on a face …imagine all these stars
My 13 year old daugther said “liar, liar, liar, you cannot nap during a tattoo. Because od the needle constantly poking into your flesh. She just did not want to get into trouble with her father”. And that is from a 13 year old!!! I agree with my daugther, that artist should not have to pay for his customers stupidity!!!
A skinful of booze would possibly allow for napping…
The only way you she could have fallen asleep would have maybe been booze,but the problem with that, is that if you are drunk most tattoo artists will not tattoo you, because it thins your blood, and you will bleed a lot more.
I know when I got my tattoo, that they made me sign a consent form stating that i had not had anything to drink and that I was of age and such.

well the thing is that i have had multiple tattoos and have fallen asleep during nearly every one of them to the exception of the ones done on cartilage, face tattoos are not that hard to fall asleep to, and with the needle puncturing the flesh it only goes down 1 cm. and frankly that’s not that painful if anything its more of a tickling feeling with or without drugs or alcohol but i have yet to wake with something that i did not request
well it was obvious the girl was lying… who falls asleep while getting a tattoo?? especially on your face! I don’t know of anyone who (while sober) could fall asleep while having a needle jabbed into their face. She was stupid to lie but on another note: the tattoo artist: WHAT A FREAK!! I like piercings as much as the next person but his face is just too much.

You can also tell she is lying because, if she asked for 3 stars, why would she have needed to fall asleep in the first place. Three little stars should have taken a minute each, easily. I got a moderate sized tattoo (about the size of four quarters arranged in a square) that took 10 minutes. If she really wanted 3 stars, it had to have been less than 5 minutes, and seriously, who falls asleep in 5 minutes?
I actually heard later on right before the trial or something she finally admitted to lying. She apologized to the tattoo artist for it (not that it makes up for it) and admitted she only lied because her father was so furious when she came home.
I absolutely LOVE her tattoos! She should really just ignore her parents.

unless i am mistaken and this is someone else with the same tats, I seen this girl, a few years ago, she was a club kid who did this herself. there was a cnn news special about it and how she was embarrassed now she was older and wants then removed.
