IRS Seeks Pound Of Cage

Nicolas Cage is just another in a long string of celebrities to run afoul of the IRS; after the agency reportedly filed a $6,257,005 tax lien against one of the actor’s properties.
The IRS claim that Cage owes for unpaid income tax from 2007. Cage’s substantial property holdings have taken significant losses of late, which could see him digging deep to make the payment. The lien is against his New Orleans home, which is currently on the market for $3.55 million. Also listed for sale is Cage’s Hollywood home, which might sell for as little as half of the $35 million at which it was once valued.
