A Chinese death row inmate walked out of jail just before his execution wearing a smuggled wig.
Feng Liu was allowed a “love visit” but rather than using it for the intended purpose, he instead donned a long wig smuggled by his girlfriend, and walked out of the jail wearing clothes that he had dyed in the toilet.
According to a prison spokesman, Feng Liu “looked like a woman.” However, authorities took a dim view of the escape from the jail in Hubei, China, and sentenced two guards to a year in prison for their failure to prevent Feng Liu’s escape.
