Business would seem to be booming for UK plastic surgeons, with unprecedented numbers of middle-aged to elderly male Britons going under the knife to reduce breast size.
The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons acknowledged that after performing just 22 male breast reduction procedures in 2003, they performed almost one per day (323) in 2008. In some cases, liposuction is an effective treatment option, in others, tissue must removed and the chest area resculpted.
