A wife who claimed she was meeting friends for coffee but who was actually meeting her lover was caught when her husband happened upon their Yorkshire terrier outside a bar.
The 40-year-old husband spotted their friendly pet tied to a lamp post outside of a bar in Caltanissetta, Sicily. The dog barked excitedly when it saw him with his two young children. When he looked inside he found his wife in a passionate embrace with the bar’s owner.
The cheating had told her husband that she was taking the dog with her to meet friends for coffee.
After the ensuing brawl, the bar owner was taken to hospital where he was treated for cuts and bruises.

A police spokesman explained:
Officers were called to the scene and the situation was explained to them by those involved.
The wife was caught out by the family’s pet Yorkshire – dog’s certainly are a man’s best friend it would seem.
We have taken no action against the man but I understand he has contacted lawyers and the couple are divorcing.
