Man Reports Fake Murder To Improve Police Response Time

police
When 38-year-old Mark Anthony Johnson called 911 to report that he had committed a homicide and was armed with a weapon, police naturally rushed to the scene.

The only thing was, the East Texas man had not committed a murder at all, he made the report, it would seem, in order to provide police with a sense of urgency. When they arrived at the scene there were no bodies or weapons, just an assault complaint from complainant Mark Anthony Johnson.

Johnson was subsequently charged with filing a false report and arrested. His bond has been set at $3,000 and he is currently without legal representation; any takers?
