Man Killed By Out of Control Manure Hose


Innerzehent, Austria: A 50-year-old Austrian farmer was killed when he was struck on the head by an out of control manure hose.

According to The Austrian Times, the man’s 79-year-old father was unaware of his son’s location began to pump manure onto a steep field by way of the hose – he was standing 300 feet uphill when the incident occurred.

The fatal injury was caused by a blow to the head from the out of control hose, which came as the victim was caught off-guard by what was described as “an avalanche of manure”.

Innerzehent police reported that an ambulance was called but that the man succumbed to his injuries before it arrived.
