Now be honest.
How many times have you been sitting in an airport lounge, waiting for that flight to your holiday destination, and you have thought to yourself…. if only I could get a tan while I’m killing time. Once or twice maybe?
Well, it seems you are in luck… sort of.
If you were flying from Gatwick Airport in the UK, between July 28 and August 1st – not a huge window of opportunity I confess – your wish of getting a fake tan would be answered.
Called the very original name of the ‘Gatwick Glow’, visitors to the North and South terminals can visit a free tanning booth to give holiday makers a ‘natural’ sheen and prepare them for a sunnier destination.
The airport’s marketing manager, Kim Francis, says
Hopefully it will send them off on their holidays feeling great about themselves
