Russian man tried to stab his way out of jail prophecy

A Russian man was sentenced to 22 years in a maximum security prison after a fortune teller told him something that he didn’t want to hear.

On October 8 of last year Gennady Osipovich met a Gypsy fortune teller who told him that he was headed for “kazyonny dom”, which translates to “state-sponsored house” AKA prison. Confronted with his crushing future, Osipovich decided to do whatever he could to make sure that it didn’t come true and started to prove her wrong by living life on the straight and narrow pulled out a knife and tried to stab her.

The fortune teller got away, but two witnesses were not so lucky. Ospovich stabbed each of them repeatedly and they succumbed to their wounds. [Nothing to do with Arbroath]
