Presidential Seal goes AWOL during speech

What was rather humorous to some, was no doubt a nightmare to the person who had the job of securing Obama’s presidential seal on his lectern.

Having the seal fall off and crash to the stage, as he delivered a speech to Fortune magazine’s Most Powerful Women Summit, is probably not the ideal way to get their attention.

The audience saw the funny side and the President joked when he realized what had happened.

That’s all right, all of you know who I am, but I’m sure there’s somebody back there that’s really nervous right now, don’t you think? They’re sweating bullets.

Really nervous, perhaps, but not fearing for their lives as they would be if something like this happened in North Korea.
