Did the Czech president just steal a pen?

I don’t want to go out and impugn a national leader by claiming that he swiped a pen off a desk during a national visit to Chile – so I will let the video speak for itself. He opens the pen box and seems to like what he sees. He then picks it up and his hands disappear below the table in the direction of his pockets… and the pen is gone.

So Czech President Václav Klaus is either one hell of a magician or he just swiped a pen at a press conference… brazen. For the record, it is also possible that the pen was a gift.
