Driving when intoxicated is a stupid thing to do. Even stupider is trying to smoke your hearing aid when cops stop you to see if you are driving when intoxicated.
That’s what 53-year old David Wagner did when cops pulled him over on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The deputy noticed a smell of alcohol and called for another officer to help him. While waiting the Florida man tried to light and smoke his hearing aid which was a definite give away Wager wasn’t in a sober state of mind.
A breath test showed Wagner’s blood-alcohol content was indeed very much over the legal limit for driving in Florida and he was arrested and charged with a DUI.
After his arrest, Wagner admitted he drank “a half bottle of Jagermeister” before being stopped by cops. [Source | Image]
