Well, it seems not it’s not only celebrities that decide to give their children names they’ll hate for the rest of their lives.
An Israeli couple have decided to show their love to their newborn daughter by naming her Like – inspired by none other than social media giant Facebook.
Lior and Vardit Adler say when they announced the name of their daughter on their online profile they got 40 Facebook likes.
Apparently, to Lior (Like’s father) like is the new love:
“I checked that the name does not exist elsewhere in the country, that was the main condition for me. In our opinion it’s the modern equivalent of the name Ahava (Love).
It’s just my way of saying to my fantastic daughter, ‘love.’”
Little Like is the third daughter of the Adlers and she’s not alone in the “modern and innovative” name game. Older sister Pie was named after the couple’s love of, yes you guessed it, pie. And the other little girl is Vash, which is Hebrew for honey.
So do you like Like? Or do you think it’s likely that Like will not like Like? Conversations at the house might start to get a little confusing…
Do you want vash on your pie Like? No Vash, not your Pie… Pie put Vash down I want vash not your sister Vash… oh likely … Not you Like… aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh. [Popjolly]
