Show and Tell is a right of passage for any elementary school student. The excitement of thinking you’ve got the best thing to show off to the class runs through your blood as you search the house for that perfect thing.

That perfect things for a kindergartner student at Sweet Springs Elementary School in Missouri turned out to be his mother’s crack pipe and her stash of drugs – valued at $3,700.

(I had to read that twice myself. $3,700US. When you see stories like this it’s usually the down and out, so high on drugs the kids aren’t eating because they’re scrounging for their next fix. Not $3,000 worth of drugs. Either Mommy’s a dealer or that family isn’t suffering any financial difficulties.)

Authorities were contacted, the boys mother arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and first-degree child endangerment.

I just gotta ask. If $3,700 worth of crack is only possession, how much does one have to have to be charged with intent to traffic? Source

this is sad because that little boy just lost his dad in an auto accident that we feel the st louis pd did not investigate well because he was about to divorce her and then where would she get the money to fee her habit–and this child has family that were not notified of this for over a week–shed did recently come into a lot of money–thank u air force–whom we also tried to warn.there is also another child, a precious 2 yr old girl.  that is why i wonder why she is not charged with distributing because of th amount of crack and only 1 count of child endangerment when there are two.
