leaf blowers are meant to blow leaves... not chairs
It’s something you would expect a kid to try. Those daredevil kids who think they are invincible, trying to show off for their friends, not an adult who should know better.
Why this idea even came to Tad Sieber and Mike Brubaker we will never know. Perhaps they were hit by an engineering dilemma and thought this would be the way to solve it, or maybe they’d just played a drinking game and were seeing through rose colored glasses. Who knows why they thought it would be fun to sit in an office chair, hold a leaf blower, then turn it on. But they did.
From the video below it looks like no one got hurt. However, the leaf blower did make the chair spin… and spin… and spin… until eventually it fell over.
