Think all you want, but the answer is a firm and resounding no, “Bacon Happy Hour” is easily the best promotional event ever, unless you have a distaste for bacon and alcohol, and if you do, then you’re just a crazy person.
Bad Decisions, a Baltimore area bar, hosts a mouth-watering, once-a-month event known as “Beer & Bacon Happy Hour”, that is an artery clogging bacon fest of epic proportions. There are bacon-themed drinks, a bacon heavy dinner menu, and replacing the old bar staple of a bowl of peanuts, bottomless bowls of piping hot bacon.
Here’s a few examples of the bacon-esque offerings from Bad Decisions…
- Bacon and Habanero Pepper Mojito, a minty rum mojito mixed with spicy habanero peppers and topped with bacon crumbles.
- Apple-Bacon Martini, which is garnished with a strip of bacon rather than green olives.
- a frothy cream soda and whiskey float topped with a scoop of bacon ice cream and, naturally, a strip of bacon.
- grilled bacon kabobs, bacon shrimp, bacon cinnamon rolls and pretzels dipped in chocolate and rolled in bacon candy.
Not surprising that the bar is usually packed for the once-a-month event. Only a delicate genius could come up with a tasty promotion as this.
Bacon—is there anything it can’t do?
