A Japanese company has recently developed The Next Big Thing in personal hygiene: The portable bidet.

For the working man or woman on the go, the washlet delivers a steady stream of water for twenty-three seconds and fits in your overnight bag.  It features a nifty wristband, preventing the misfortune of dropping your utility hygiene device into unsanitary fluids.  The original article recommends its use over a sanitary receptacle, but the device’s ease of use and small profile would certainly allow one to freshen-up over a kitchen sink, your local mall’s coin fountain, or even your neighbor’s lawn.  The possibilities are endless!
