Armed notebooks are cool, lifelike, and not airport friendly

Ever wished you had a notebook with a gun, knife, grenade, or some other type of weapon molded onto the cover?  If the answer is yes, then you may have a problem—not with getting your hands on one, but the fact that you actually desired one in the first place.

I keed, I keed.  But seriously, if the thought of artillery embossed on the cover of a notebook has ever tickled your fancy, then you must pick up one of these cool armed notebooks, featuring 3D weapons molded on the cover.

Just don’t try taking them aboard a plane—the realistic look may get you into some trouble with airport security.  Consider yourself warned.

And even though the notebooks feature items designed to kill, maim or destroy, the message behind the notebooks is a more peaceful one.

Makers say the weapon-inspired notebooks – created by Taiwan based designer Megawing –  are: “Designed to remind us to turn violence into beautiful words and drawings with our creativity.”

Sounds good on paper, but try writing a poem to the next person who pulls a knife on you and tell me how that turns out.
