It would have been better had she burst into song, luckily, KCBS TV reporter Serene Branson says she’s “feeling fine” after Sunday’s 11PM broadcast that sent shivers down many viewers backs. In the video (above) she can be seen struggling to retain her composure and fail to control her speech.

Some people thought she might have been having a stroke, and she was immediately examined by paramedics at the scene, just outside of the Staples Center in LA where the Grammys were being held. The station immediately cut to a performance broadcast as soon as the program director realized what was going on.

According to the CBS website she had a follow up visit with her doctor as a precaution and is feeling much better.

I experienced a “drunken sounding woman” in a parking lot hitting a telephone pole, with her car as she tried to drive out of a liquor vendors store. Her speech was slurred. “i called for ambulance service” which never came, they thought she was a public drunk. So, i drover her home , after parking her car, “i then phoned her son, after getting her comfortable at home” she was still babbling on in slurred speech . Her son said he would take car of her. My Dad was a drunk , so i thought, she would be ok at home. Two days later, her car was still in the parking lot, beside the Beer Wine outlet. “i called the son ” who said, she passed away a day after i got her home. ” she had an infarction in the brain” She was 68, but still, i know, to take any one in daytime to the emergency ward, ” if this happens to one of your friends” ” i am in public service ” i am sharing a real life experience, as you all view this video.
